Privacy Policy
This policy explains how the Board & Bedside Publisher tool handles information when it is connected to Pinterest.
At a glance
Board & Bedside Publisher is a limited publishing and analytics tool used to manage Board & Bedside content on Pinterest. It is not offered as a consumer service. The tool uses only the Pinterest account access and information needed to publish content, manage authorized boards, and review content performance.
This privacy-policy page itself does not use forms, analytics, cookies, or tracking technologies.
Information we may receive
When a Pinterest account is connected, Pinterest may provide information permitted by the account holder and the authorization scopes selected, including:
- Account information: Pinterest account identifiers and basic profile information.
- Authorization information: access credentials or tokens that allow the tool to perform approved Pinterest actions.
- Board and Pin information: board identifiers, Pin content, titles, descriptions, destination links, publishing status, and related metadata.
- Performance information: metrics Pinterest makes available for authorized content, such as impressions, saves, and outbound clicks.
- Technical records: limited logs needed to diagnose failed publishing or authorization requests.
The tool does not request Pinterest passwords or payment-card information. It does not access Etsy buyer records, patient information, or health records.
How information is used
Information is used only to operate the authorized Pinterest workflow. This may include:
- publishing approved Pins to selected boards;
- managing scheduled publishing tasks;
- reading board, Pin, and account information needed for those tasks;
- reviewing content performance to improve future Board & Bedside content;
- maintaining security and troubleshooting errors; and
- complying with applicable law and platform requirements.
Retention and deletion
Authorization information is retained only while needed to operate the connected workflow or until access is revoked. Publishing records, performance information, and technical logs are kept only as long as reasonably necessary for operation, troubleshooting, security, or legal obligations.
When Pinterest access is revoked, the tool will no longer be able to access new account information. Residual records may remain for a limited period in backups or logs before deletion under normal retention practices.
Your choices
The Pinterest account holder controls the connection. Access can be reviewed or revoked through Pinterest’s account settings. Revoking access stops future Pinterest API access by the tool but does not automatically remove Pins already published to Pinterest.
Requests to access, correct, or delete information associated with the tool may be submitted through the contact method below. We may need to verify the requester’s authority over the connected Pinterest account before acting.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect authorization credentials and other information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as the tool, Pinterest requirements, or applicable law changes. The effective date at the top of the page will be revised when material changes are published.
